Well, as a result of my letter to the BEH on January 7th, I received a notice in the mail which stated that the Community Assessment Program (CAP) within the BEH will be handling my request, most likely within six months.
This organization typically assesses environmental health concerns and incidences of cancer. I felt Bedfords water quality, 1960-90 primarily, needed to be elevated to the awareness of this group, due to the number of cases I have become aware of and the water quality issues at that time.
Hopefully this will get Bedford on the map for long term water planning and remediation.
